Email Capture

The system has a very powerful and flexible email integration process that enables the user to save selected emails and attachments from the email program with a single click. The system captures the essential email Meta data, which is then auto-populated and the records indexed. Where required, updates to the index information can be made.

RMConsole allows the user to index the email and attachments together or separately. However, even if indexed separately, the link is always maintained so the integrity of the original email and attachments is shown. These are stored in their native format so they can be forwarded from within the email program.

Storing emails in RMConsole applies a full retention process that the email system would not provide, as well as allows sharing of emails within the organization. RMConsole is integrated through a button in MS Outlook, Groupwise or Lotus.
